It's time for the May Monthly Goal Meetup! If you're not familiar with the meetup, read how it started and what it's all about here.
It's time to see what we accomplished and what we still need to tackle- how did you fare for April?
Here was my list of April goals...I got a few things done. Uh, sorta...
- Start a Monthly Goal Meetup on Biztips! ;)
- Get a press/praise page done and up for Biztips
- Get a discounts/deals page done for Modish
- Send out a newsletter to all past Modish Marketing sign-ups about this new blog
- Ask a few more people to create freebies for Modish
- Ask a few more people to do interviews for Do What you Love
- Get busy working out the terms of the new services I'll be offering (hint hint, wink wink ;) and have those detailed and ready to go by the end of the month
- Offer ads on Biztips up to new business at end of the month
#1 was kind of a cheater goal item :: #7 has been accomplished in a round-a-bout way- I'm now offering marketing consulting services to Aeolidia clientele, and plan to offer services through this blog too soon- I'll have to make a new goal for that this month! If you're interested in any one-on-one marketing consulting in the meantime, let me know! :: #8 I crossed off only because I decided I don't really want ads on this blog- I'd rather use that space for more information and to showcase my own services, once I get them going... I still would like to do #2-5- these are the long term little goals that just don't seem to ever get done because they're not high priorities, but that's why I have them on here! So, I'm adding those back in with a few more for my new goals for May.
May Business Goals
- Set up a newsletter list for the monthly goal meet-up
- Get a discounts/deals page done for Modish
- Send out a newsletter to all past Modish Marketing sign-ups about this blog
- Ask a few more people to create freebies for Modish
- Get a press/praise page done and up for Biztips
- Get back to inbox zero! (I hope to also write a post about that this month.) It's driving me insane not being able to keep up on my emails.
- Get all my duckies in a row with the marketing consulting materials
- Start offering marketing services directly to clients in June
- Take ads down and re-organize the sidebars on BIZtips

And to tackle #1 on my May goals list right now ;) I've set up a monthly goal meetup email list. Between the 10-15th of the month at some point, I'll send out an email to everyone signed up with the list of links to all who are participating and also a little mid-month reminder to get back on track in completing what you set out to. I could've used a reminder myself!
