Crochet season

Summer's coming and with the shorter sleeves comes the time to break out those bracelets!  I love bracelets; they're definitely one of my favorite accessories because I don't often see many people wearing them and I like the way they slip and slide against my arm.  Well, it may be high time for more people to start enjoying the thrills of a bracelet dancing on their wrist, especially when we now have such simply sweet crocheted ones like these, from Wren Handmade!  Perfection!

Fit for a Queen

Plastic Mystique

Jump around!

You'll be jumping for joy in this super cute jumper dress by dainty & dirty.  Features a a very limited edition vintage owl print fabric from the 70's on the bodice and pocket with a soft jersey knit skirt.  The slight gathering of the fabric beneath the bodice and the keyhole in the pocket totally sold me- I love attention to little details like that.  It's shown in its "winter mode" here, but would look fabulous with some wedges and leggings for the warmer months.  I also love the big wooden buttons, handmade for a "folky" touch- Heidi would definitely rock this as the perfect yodeling outfit, but with its hip style and flattering fit, you can rock it too, no glockenspiel required!  Find it only at dainy & dirty, along with some also very cute vintage obi belts and more!

Hello me loves!  Grace from design*sponge has a new column she's starting next week called "ask a designer" where she'll feature a new designer each week, talk about their success stories and then open it up for questions from us!  She's interested in indie designers and is currently taking suggestions for designers that you'd like to hear from!  So if there are some indie designers you've always wanted to know more about, learn from, be even more inspired by, feel free to name drop and leave a comment for Grace so hopefully she can represent the indie/handmade element as well!  I already put in my suggestions! :)
