No Foolin' April Fools Day Giveaway!
On this lovely April 1st, a day when people will be playing tricks on you, trying to turn you into a fool, I present you with a safe, foolin' free haven with an ENORMOUS giveaway for spring, worth $965! No joke! So keep safe at your desk all day, avoiding banana peels and pies in the face (uh, is that what people do?) and spend some time scavenging around some amazing indie sites to earn a chance at winning the goodies you see below. Since it's a biggin' (yet again!) I'll be choosing 2 winners at random to split the stash up between, and I hope you're an art lover because there's 9 works of art included that need a good wall to hang on. Read on for rules on how to enter and good luck! And no, this really isn't a joke- promise!
To enter the giveaway contest: click
and explore at least one site from one of the giveaway contributors
listed below. Scope their site out and find an item you think is interesting, unique,
or something that you'd love to have for yourself- then, leave a comment on this post letting us know which site you visited and share a link to an item you found there that you like! Voila!
Some guidelines:
- You can visit one site or visit a lot- just share one link per comment- (ie: if you visit 5 different shops, you'll enter yourself 5 different times with 5 different comments and increase your odds of winning, see?) Please paste the link into the actual BODY of the comment- the "URL" section is for your own website, if you have one.
- You'll have until Friday, April 4th at 11:59pm (PST) to look around at the sites and post a comment (entries posted after that will not be included in the contest)
- on Saturday, April 5th, TWO winners will be chosen randomly from all the commenters and notified by email! (so check your email if you've entered!)
- And yes! International residents can enter to win too.
So, start cruising the sites below, share the cool things you find
with the rest of us and maybe even pick up a few things for yourself
along the way, hmmm? And happy April Fool's Day!

Being an Aussie in NYC, about to board a plane TO Australia in 2 hours (I'll be back!) to visit, I immediately clicked on Aussie Patches. Wow. What an artist: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=9745171

I love the design, and the message is even better, because not matter how I was feeling, there is always time for a cup of tea.

How exciting to see Design for Mankind http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5358691 in this giveaway. I love the site, it's one of my daily reads!

I love gift tags - they are great to have on hand. Especially due to the fact that I can never remember to get out to the store and buy greeting cards. With 2 kids and 2 businesses it's impossible to make those special trips and I would love to keep tags on hand to attach to a gift on the fly!
I heart this product too from the collection. Mid Century Modern furniture labels. They remind me of the ones that are on my Drexel Heritage vintage dining table and chairs!

So many great shops to choose from! But I have to say I'd choose Rosie Music's Home Sweet Home print (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=10559466) because I just bought my first home. Love all her stuff!

We adopted our bichon frise (so cute) about 5 years ago, and his halter is about 4 and half years old! He's ready for a classy upgrade.

Last one for now because I will break down and eventually go broke if I keep surfing at the moment. Very nice indie sellers; thank for posting the names and links!
Jewel Alchemy has some gorgeous things, but I didn't get much farther once I'd seen the Rugged Mookaite Garnet Smoky and Oro Verde Quartz Sterling and Bali Silver Bracelet:
