Have a crafty weekend!

What are you doing this weekend, hmmm?  Want to get out in the (hopefully) sunny weather and take in some springtime handmade goodness?  Well, you can!

If you're near Raleigh, NC, be sure to check out The Handmade Market going on tomorrow, May 3rd from 11-5pm.  You can shop a wonderful collection of handmade goods made by over 50 different designers, some of which you can see below.  For more information and directions to the location, head to The Handmade Market website.  I wish I could go! :(  Have fun all my NC crafty ladies!

Also, tomorrow is the grand re-opening of the Brooklyn Indie Market!  They'll be open from 11-7pm tomorrow under the big red and white striped tent at the Carroll Gardens.  This event happens all throughout the summer months every Saturday, so head down there sometime if you're in the area!

And, a super fun way to spend a whole afternoon, the Maker Faire and Bazaar Bizarre are happening in San Mateo (just outside of San Francisco) May 3rd and 4th- I've personally attended this event and would definitely recommend it- the Bazaar Bizarre is a packed FULL craft show with some amazing vendors, and the Maker Faire will keep you entertained after you go shopping- you can check out robot fights, get shocked by crazy scientists, see human cupcakes on wheels, ride a homemade segway...it's a good time to be had.
