It's here, it's here! I'm so excited to announce that the release of Peer is here! What is Peer? Well, it's an incredible collaboration between 25 of today's most wonderful working artists. A limited edition collection of exclusive self-portraits that are designed for you to add your own artistic spin to. Yeah, it's just a little thing called the coolest coloring book you've ever seen!
Curated by my amazingly brilliant guest blogger, Renee Garner from Wolfie & the Sneak, Peer was created as "an experiment in connectivity" that brings the customer (you!) into the art as well. Renee asked a slew of artistic talent to create self-portraits for the project and I can't get over how awesome it is to see the different interpretations of what that means to each artist. You get a little glimpse into their world, and get to color it with your own unique perspective; now that's a match made in artistic heaven!
Peer contains works from Kate Bingaman-Burt, Will Bryant, Lisa Congdon, Stephanie DosReis, Camilla Engman, Jessica Gonacha, Frances Hawthorne, Abbey Hendrickson, Jennifer Judd-McGee, Sandra Juto, Kelly Lynn Jones, Katey Nicosia (One Good Bumblebee), Hernán Paganini (puloverchito), Shannon Rankin (Selflesh), Danna Ray (Groundwork), Jen Ray ( corduroy.etsy.com), Justin Richel, Julia Rothman, Bonnie Rue (Model Citizen), Heather Smith Jones, Lisa Solomon, Sub-Studio, Shauna Alterio & Stephen Loidolt (Something's Hiding in Here), Julianna Swaney (aka Oh My Cavalier!) and Wolfie and the Sneak. In otherwords, just a few of your favorite artists :)
It will be sold in a limited edition run so you better get your hands on it quick! Each page is removable so you can color and frame your favorite collaborative creations and hang some one-of-a-kind art in your home. And, share your finished pieces with the Peer flickr group to show off your coloring skills! Sounds like fun to me! Order your copy today and get to coloring! I can't wait to get mine!
Congrats Renee on the culmination of an awesome project- it looks amazing!
