I think most people start out the vegetable gardening experience looking for the perfect homegrown tomato. I can't remember how Misti and I met on flickr so long ago, but that girl can grow a tomato. Somehow I missed the fact that she'd started selling some of her favorite tomato seeds on etsy, but upon finding her shop, I had to share her lycopene packed shop with you. Without further ado, let me introduce you to Oceanic Wilderness Designs, your one stop heirloom tomato shop. Maybe if you ask nicely, she'll even share some tips for growing, too!
I know, not everyone likes tomatoes, it's one of the biggest shames in taste bud history (oops, was that out loud?), but etsy has that gardener's crack covered, too. Check out My Victory Garden's shop for a whole assortment of colorfully nutritious (and delicious) vegetable seeds!
Still lookin' for a little something to fill that empty spot in your yard?
Sage Thymes has quite possibly the biggest collection of soybeans I've ever seen.
Smoky Mist Gardens has quite a selection of squash, gourds and flowers (including a really interesting selection of brugmansias.)
As an honorary mention, this Teddy Bear Sunflower from fluffnflowers is just too pretty to ignore.
Oh yeah, and since we all know how generous etsy sellers tend to be, you can send your extra seeds on over my way once you've sown what you'll eat!
Renee Garner has a passion to make things grow, although her brownish
thumb wants her to believe otherwise. When mud pies aren't on the menu,
you can find her doodling the days away at Wolfie and the Sneak.
