Officially my new favorite website, Where They Create is a series by interiors photographer Paul Barbera of artists and their creative environments.
What I think I love most about it is that his photos are so different from the unrealistically organized, impeccably decorated, hyper styled, overly perfect images that we're normally inundated with (that often leave me feeling like a messy, unworthy and jealous piece of you know what.)
These photos feel real. Un-edited. Mid-creation. They have energy and attitude and life. I love that they don't try to hide the mundane and unartistic normalcies of our surroundings- the dust, the unruly cords, the uneven blinds. I think they're wonderful.
