About
Modish (pronounced: mode-ish) is a daily design and style blog run by editor, Jena Coray. Launched in April 2006, Jena's focus has been to help bring awareness to talented emerging artists and designers. By sharing her favorite handmade & vintage goods, art & photography, fashion & design, she supports the most innovative, independent and sustainable prodcuts in the marketplace, all the while, sharing some inspiration and eye-candy along the way.
Jena writes from her home in Portland, OR which she shares with her favorite mister, Justin, a big headed dog named Otis and two hilarious cats. You can also find her at her sister site, Modish BIZtips, offering bright ideas for your creative business, over on flickr or twittering away.

Modish is proud to welcome these wonderful contributors to the team!
Renee Garner from Wolfie and the Sneak gets back to the roots (pun intended!) of what handmade is all about with her Pedals & Petals column, posted every Friday. She explores gardening, cooking, and sustainable living, along with diy projects and inspiring words of wisdom.
Liz Grotyohann is co-founder of cosa verde,
a marketplace connecting artists that create eco-friendly, handmade
goods with like-minded shoppers. She also blogs about sustainable craft
on cosa verde, and works to promote independent artists and the
handmade and green movements. Find her on Modish every Tuesday sharing some of her favorite eco-friendly finds with us!
